A Week Stay In Kaua'i
It's my last day at our leadership retreat here in the beautiful island of Kaua'i. I can remember a time when I could only dream of being a top earner in a network marketing company, being treated like royalty at one of these amazing trips I only seen in the magazines...
To be honest, I actually dreamt that for 17 years without any success. Yep...I was introduced to Network Marketing and for 17 years I only wished to be as successful as those business persons invited on those "top earner" trips...but wishing wasn't enough, obviously. You see, as I was wishing I was also bouncing around from company to company, as I was wishing I was still being distracted by everything else that came along in my life, as I was wishing, I was still "limited" in my own personal development and my own ability to "own" my own power.
But I never gave up and 17 years after my first introduction to this business, after a lot of struggle, a lot of learning, a lot of ups and a lot of downs, I finally made it happen. I put away all the stress and worry and fear and I went head first and now I'm a top earner in my company, I also teach others how to be successful in network marketing and I AM on this trip! The trip I dreamed of years ago!
This weekend was epic. 25 top earners gathered together for an all expense paid trip on the beautiful island of Kaua'i at the AMAZING Hyatt Grand Kaua'i property. We met up to mastermind, share best practices, train, have fun, celebrate 2016 and most of all, solidify the plan going into 2017! One TAKE AWAY
One of the biggest takeaways of this event was about "money consciousness." We live in a society where there's a lot of stigma around "money."
"Money's bad," "money changes a person," "only certain people have money...." These are just of the few thoughts that can go through a persons mind while thinking about accumulating riches.
If you plan on having a successful, growing, thriving business then you had better get rid of any "money stigma" you're holding on to and begin increasing your money consciousness.
Money consciousness is when you become a money magnet; You are conscious of it and it is conscious of you and you draw money to you and money seeks you out, like a magnet would attract paperclips.
One way to increase your money consciousness is to read the following affirmation statement EVERY DAY and feel what it would feel like to be on the side of the stream taking you to WEALTH.
Affirmation Statement: Thinking into Riches (READ DAILY)
When money comes in quantities known as "the big money," it flows to the one who accumulates it, as easily as water flows down hill. There exists a great unseen stream of POWER, which may be compared to a river; except that one side flows in one direction, carrying all who get into that side of the stream, onward and upward to WEALTH--and the other side flows in the opposite direction, carrying all who are unfortunate enough to get into it (and not able to extricate themselves from it), downward to misery and POVERTY.
Every man who has accumulated a great fortune, has recognized the existence of this stream of life. It consists of one's THINKING PROCESS. The positive emotions of thought form the side of the stream which carries one to fortune. The negative emotions form the side which carries one down to poverty.
If you are in the side of the stream of POWER which leads to poverty, this may serve as an oar, by which you may propel yourself over into the other side of the stream. It can serve you ONLY through application and use. This carries a thought of stupendous importance to the person who taking steps in life with the object of accumulating a fortune. Merely reading, and passing judgment on it, either one way or another, will in no way benefit you.
Some people undergo the experience of alternating between the positive and negative sides of the stream, being at times on the positive side, and at times on the negative side. Poverty and riches often change places. Poverty may, and generally does, voluntarily take the place of riches. When riches take the place of poverty, the change is usually brought about through well-conceived and carefully executed PLANS. Poverty needs no plan. It needs no one to aid it, because it is bold and ruthless. Riches are shy and timid. They have to be "attracted."
